Samuel B. Benavides has been licensed since 1994, however, he has a total of over 25 years experience working in the custom residential and light commercial design industry.   

Sam's career actually began 6 years ealier working in construction as a rough carpenter.  This practical experience was invaluable during his architectural education and subsequent internship.  His understanding of structure and design went deeper than just textbook knowledge.

Since becoming licensed, Sam has worked with numerous clients to design home remodels, custom homes, commercial buildings, office spaces and tenant improvements; his rapport with construction professionals keeps him involved during the construction phase regardless of building type. 

This ability to communicate with the entire project team from beginning to end is what makes him a true leader in problem solving and successful completion of a project.

He's been a sole practitioner for over 9 years and continues to expand his knowledge of architectural practice and design to better service his clients.
